Welcome to Bethlehem Lutheran Church
This time of year in the Church Calendar in which we celebrate the work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the Church and its continuing mission of spreading the Gospel and growth in the lives of all baptised believers on earth.
We continue to pray for Pastor Bernard from the First Lutheran Church of Cap Hatien, Haiti, his family, the church, and all of the suffering people of Haiti. This is specially important at this time of year since it it is the beginning of the hurricane season and many are still without any perminent shelter.
Rev. Arthur M. Casci, Senior Pastor
Rev. Edward L. England, Associate Pastor
Who will speak for the "whos" of Haiti? (pdf)
We congradulate Rev. Harrison and others on their election at the recent Synodical convention. May God's blessings and the guidance of the Holy Spirit be with them all.
Pastor
England is exploring the possibility of re-establishing weekly evening
Bible Studies on the campus of Wright State University beginning this
September. All college-aged individuals, members and friends, are
invited to participate and learn more about how the Scriptures help us
to cope with our everyday lives. Please contact Pastor England or call
the Church Office at (937) 878-0651 to add your name to our roster.
"For
by
grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your
own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one
can boast." Ephesians 2:8-9 (ESV)
