Blessed is the man who does not go with the wicked in their planning, stand in the ways of sinners, or sit in the company of mockers, but delights in what the LORD teaches and reads it thoughtfully day and night.
He is like a tree planted by streams of water; It produces its fruit in its seasons, and its leaves do not wither. He succeeds in everything he does.
The wicked are not like that but like chaff that the wind blows away. And so when they are judged the wicked will not stand, nor will sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
You see, the LORD cares about what happens to the righteous, but the wicked go their way and perish.
